On October 13, 2022, the 105th Anniversary of the Miracle of the Sun
My Dear Brothers and Sisters in the Lord,
We are in the month of October, consecrated as the month of the Rosary. History tells us that in the year 1571 there was a battle between the Muslims and the Catholics. Pope St. Pius V summoned a public rosary in the Basilica of St. Mary Major requesting the help of Our Most Holy Mother that the Catholics would have victory. And, on the 7th of October 1571 at “The Battle of Lepanto,” the Catholics did in fact obtain victory. His Holiness honored her under the title Our Lady of Victory with a Feast Day each 7th of October. This title was changed by his successor Pope Gregory XIII to Our Lady of the Rosary.
Our Mother, Most Holy Mary, invites us constantly to conversion and to finally establish a union with her Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, for which we pray the prayer of the Rosary contemplating and meditating on the events and life of Our Lord. There is also the practice of fasting one or two times per week so as to do penance for the conversion of sinners, remembering that which she said to the children in the apparitions of Fatima in 1917, that many souls are going to hell because there is no one to sacrifice and pray for them. In each Rosary Congress we have the opportunity of spending time with Our Lord during adoration, praise, Eucharist, the sacrament of reconciliation, and many ways in which to receive an abundance of graces. This strengthens our spirit and helps us in our daily lives at the same time that we make the offering in reparation and petition for the conversion of sinners.
The memory of a dream I had a few years ago comes to me in which I see myself in the middle of a street heading uphill, and at the summit toward where I am heading, I see the Virgin of Guadalupe. I am making gestures with my hand and I am shouting to the people going to and fro on that street, “Come, come, there is the Virgin!” I asked them to follow me and to go with me to where we would find our Holy Mother.
I make in this moment a similar invitation to those whom God permits to read this message; that they will participate or organize in their parishes a Rosary Congress, remembering that which St. Louis Marie Grignon de Montfort said, “Mary is the easiest, shortest and surest road to arrive at Jesus.” Our Lord Jesus out of pure love has remained in our midst, fulfilling His promise of being with us until the end of the world.

Mis queridos hermanos en el Señor,
Estamos en el mes de Octubre, consagrado como el mes del Rosario, la historia nos dice que en el año 1571 hubo una batalla entre los musulmanes y los católicos. El Papa San Pio V convocó a un rosario público en la Basílica Santa María la Mayor pidiendo a nuestra Madre Santísima su ayuda para que la victoria fuera de los católicos y el 7 de Octubre de 1571 en “la batalla de Lepanto” los católicos obtuvieron la victoria. Su santidad la honró con el título “Nuestra Señora de la Victoria” con Memoria cada 7 de Octubre. Dicha advocación fue cambiada por el de Nuestra Señora del Rosario por su sucesor el Papa Gregorio XIII.
Nuestra madre María Santísima nos invita constantemente a la conversión y a que lleguemos a establecer una unión con su Hijo nuestro Señor Jesucristo por lo que nos pide: el rezo del Rosario contemplando y meditando en los eventos y vida de Nuestro Señor, la práctica del ayuno una o dos veces por semana así como hacer penitencia por la conversión de los pecadores, recordamos lo que dijo a los niños en sus apariciones de Fátima en 1917, que muchas almas van al infierno porque no hay quien se sacrifique y ore por ellas. … En cada Congreso del Rosario tenemos la oportunidad de pasar tiempo con nuestro Señor durante la adoración, la alabanza, la Eucaristía, el sacramento de la reconciliación, medios para recibir un caudal de gracias que fortalecen nuestro espíritu y nos ayudan en nuestra vida diaria al mismo tiempo que hacemos el ofrecimiento en reparación y pedimos por la conversión los pecadores.
Me viene a la memoria el sueño que tuve hace varios años en que me veo en medio de una calle cuesta arriba y al final de la misma hacia donde me dirijo, veo que está la Virgen de Guadalupe, estoy haciendo gestos con mi mano y estoy gritando a la gente que transita en esa calle “vengan, vengan, allá está la Virgen” les pedía que me siguieran y fueran conmigo hasta donde se encontraba nuestra madre Santísima.
Hago en este momento una invitación similar a los que Dios permita lean este mensaje para que participen u organicen en sus parroquias un Congreso del Rosario recordando lo que San Luis María Grigñion de Montfort dijo “María es el camino más fácil, corto, perfecto y seguro para llegar a Jesús”. A nuestro Señor Jesús que por puro amor se ha quedado entre nosotros cumpliendo su promesa de estar con nosotros hasta el fin del mundo.
