Sacred Heart Church in Glyndon, MD, held its first Rosary Congress October 7-11, 2019.  Since we were late in beginning our planning, our new pastor Fr. Jerry Francik suggested a shorter schedule consisting of 5 days of Eucharistic Adoration with the rosary on the hour from 10 am – 7 pm concluding with Benediction daily.  Rosaries were made by a parishioner and booklets provided.

Our Rosary Congress began with Opening Mass with our Sacred Heart School children in our Main Church followed by procession of their Fatima statue to our Little Church.  Organizations, ministries, & school children were invited to lead the hourly rosary each day, and all hours were covered.  Our congress concluded with Benediction and Mass.

The week went smoothly with our Blessed Mother receiving many prayer requests in her Prayer Request Box which you can view on our website.

Special thanks to our clergy, our parish staff and school staff, and to those students, organizations, ministries and parishioners who made this possible.  All glory to our Lord and His Blessed Mother.
