Marian Apparitions and the Rosary

“Queen of the Most Holy Rosary” by Fr Lawrence Lew, O.P.,

Throughout the history of the Church, God has permitted the Blessed Virgin Mary to appear in particular times and places to call her children back to her Son. These Marian apparitions are never additions to the Gospel, nor do they introduce new doctrines. Rather, as the Church consistently teaches, they serve as urgent reminders of the truths already entrusted to the Church: prayer, repentance, conversion, and trust in Jesus Christ.

The 2025 Eucharistic Rosary Congresses

Once again, the Eucharistic Rosary Congresses arrive at a moment when our nation and our Church urgently need prayer. Two years ago, war broke out in the Middle East on the very first day of the Congress, October 7. Last year, a powerful hurricane threatened Florida during this same week. This year, we have witnessed a troubling increase in death and violence across our country. Each of these signs reminds us of the need to gather together in prayer under the mantle of Our Lady.

Prophet Elijah and Naaman

Like Naaman, so often we want to do great things for God. But that’s not how it works. God, in His mercy, asks us to do little things for Him. And when we are humble and devoted and strong enough to do what is little, He then does great things in us. He makes us capable of being in heaven, of receiving Him.

Why We Do Not Use AI-Generated Sacred Images

Mary and the Apostles receiving the Holy Spirit

At Eucharistic Rosary Congresses, we believe that sacred art must reflect the truth, beauty, and dignity of our Catholic faith. While artificial intelligence has its place in certain creative projects, it cannot replace the unique, prayerful, and deeply human act of creating sacred images. For this reason, we do not use AI-generated images to depict Our Lord, Our Lady, or any of the saints in our materials.

The Magnificat: A Model for Our Mission

When we gather before the Blessed Sacrament and pray the Rosary together, we join our voices to Mary’s own hymn of praise. Each Hail Mary echoes her faith-filled “yes.” Each hour of Adoration reflects her steadfast presence before her Son. The Magnificat reminds us that authentic devotion always leads to mission—bringing Christ into our families, parishes, and communities.
