The Magnificat: A Model for Our Mission

ericbFeature Story, Rosary Congress

When we gather before the Blessed Sacrament and pray the Rosary together, we join our voices to Mary’s own hymn of praise. Each Hail Mary echoes her faith-filled “yes.” Each hour of Adoration reflects her steadfast presence before her Son. The Magnificat reminds us that authentic devotion always leads to mission—bringing Christ into our families, parishes, and communities.

The Growing Movement of Perpetual Adoration

ericbRosary Congress, Feature Story

A recent Associated Press article highlights an encouraging trend sweeping through the Catholic Church: the growing participation in Eucharistic adoration, with the Vatican marking this year’s Jubilee through special “24 Hours for the Lord” events. This beautiful resurgence of Eucharistic devotion perfectly embodies what we strive for at Eucharistic Rosary Congresses.

One of the cornerstones that I contribute to the soaring vibrancy in our parish is the Eucharistic Rosary Congress. The powerful continuous rosaries said before Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament during the seven days of Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration have been radical and life-changing!

Saint Anthony Chapel is particularly unique among the Shrines because it is home to over 5,000 relics of the saints, all displayed beautifully in cases and altar pieces made of wood and glass and available for veneration by the faithful. To gather for seven days and nights of prayer and adoration surrounded by the Communion of Saints is incredible, and makes the opportunity to experience the love from the hearts of Jesus and Mary all the more powerful.
