The 2025 Eucharistic Rosary Congresses are here!
Dear Friends in Christ:
Once again, the Eucharistic Rosary Congresses arrive at a moment when our nation and our Church urgently need prayer. Two years ago, war broke out in the Middle East on the very first day of the Congress, October 7. Last year, a powerful hurricane threatened Florida during this same week. This year, we have witnessed a troubling increase in death and violence across our country. Each of these signs reminds us of the need to gather together in prayer under the mantle of Our Lady.
We need to reach as many of the faithful as possible and invite them to participate with this powerful period of prayer, as dozens of dioceses across the nation unite in prayer for the entire week of the Congresses. From Hawaii to Alaska and from Rhode Island to Florida, we will blanket the country with Jesus and Mary's protection and grace, praying for peace, healing, and conversion of hearts!
Notes of Inspiration
- The first Rosary Congress took place in Poland, at the request of the Blessed Mother, to prepare the way for St. Pope John Paul II’s first visit to his homeland. On May 7, 1979 - the final day of that Congress, just as Our Lady promised - the communist authorities lifted restrictions, enabling the Pope’s historic return the following month and paving the way for the collapse of Communism in Poland.
- The Eucharistic Rosary Congress event is a reminder that Jesus is truly present in the Blessed Sacrament and yearns for our presence. Many attend parish Masses or meetings but overlook the treasure of Adoration when it is available to them. Encourage your family, friends, and fellow parishioners to commit to encounter the healing power of a visit to Christ in the Eucharist for at least 15 minutes.
- Through the Eucharistic Rosary Congress the faithful receive healing through the grace of Our Lord and the intercession of Mary, Our Mother. The meditations prayed during each Rosary Congress are specific to the needs of our parishes and communities: the addicted, the homeless, the pregnant, the elderly, the clergy, those in religious formation, children at risk, and more. This is a time of intercession for all.
- The Eucharistic Rosary Congress is a cenacle of prayer, hastening the triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. It offers us a foretaste of how beautiful the world will be when humanity returns to the love and service of God.
Let us encourage all parishioners, friends, and neighbors to embrace this opportunity. May every soul experience the serenity of Adoration before Our Eucharistic Lord while entrusting to Our Lady our petitions for peace and healing.
For those who are homebound, ill, or without a local Congress, participation is still possible. We invite you to pray a Holy Hour at home or in your parish church during this sacred week, using the Rosary Binder which include the prayers and special meditations for our parishes and communities.
Thank you for helping us strengthen this occasion of prayer across our nation. Together, let us persevere in hope and faith, confident that Our Lord and Our Lady will hear and grant our petitions.
In Christ,
Betty Belk
Chairman, Eucharistic Rosary Congresses
